In a transformer, insulating oil (also known as dielectric oil) is used to electrically insulate and cool the active parts. It is part of the "oil-paper" insulation system and helps slow down the degradation of the latter.

Its regular analysis provides information on the status of the transformer.

The safety of users and installations is at the heart of PROXIGO SAS' concerns. This is why we offer insulating oils with a high-fire point, which significantly reduce the risk of transformer fires.

These products are also 100% biodegradable, and their handling is not dangerous (unlike mineral insulating oils classified by the European regulation REACH "H304 - Potentially fatal in case of ingestion and penetration in the respiratory tract").

We provide a large range of process oils and base oils according to your application.

It could be used as a component for lubricants, rubbers, thermoplastic elastomers and other chemicals.

We offer different types of oils: mineral oils (Group I, II, III and V) or other types.

We are working to find a substitute for mineral products by natural or sustainable materials.

When possible, we use green materials (recycled or biosourced).

We provide a selected range of high performance low viscosity and high flash point polyol esters.

They are saturated and highly stable to oxidation.

Some references are registered NSF HX-1 and can be used as ingredients in lubricants with incidental food contact.

• Extreme pressure
  A wide range of sulfur-carrier extreme-pressure additives, compatible with mineral and synthetic base oils. They are highly effective in reducing friction between interacting metal surfaces and allowing higher pressure to be applied.
  Main applications: water based and neat metalworking fluids, gear oils, slideway oils and greases
• Anti-wear
  A range of phosphorus-based anti-wear additives (ZnDTP and/or PAE) to cover all types of usage. They are very effective in reducing wear on metal surfaces and provide a synergetic effect with selected EP additives from the range.
• Anti-corrosion
  A range of highly effective corrosion inhibitors, almost odorless and easy to handle due to the light viscosity.

Some products in the range meet the requirements of the EU Ecolabel for lubricants (LuSC List).

D.O.G. (Deutsche Oelfabrik Gesellschaft) manufactures additives for lubricant, rubber and adhesives industries since 1902 in Hamburg and more recently in Marschacht.
